Tulip Subscription 2025/Des Moines and Suburbs
In 2025 we are branching out even more with our tulips. I’ve got something up my sleeve that “may” help our tulips bloom earlier. Tulips can be forced and its in the works! You know me always experimenting! These are abundant paper wrapped bundles and and enough to share with a friend!
We expect our “in ground” tulips to start blooming Mid-April/early May but all depends on the weather. When you purchase a “subscription” you are buying (in advance) a portion of the products produced at our farms. A flower share, or subscription, is similar to the way people buy from local veggie farmers. Our tulips are a great way to start the spring season and the varieties we are growing are not the types you find at lumber yards or the tiny flowers you get at grocery stores. These are fancy tulips and premium bulbs! They are picked the day before or the day of your pick up or delivery.. And they are picked “closed” so they will open for you.
This is also a GREAT gift option and please let us know if you are purchasing as a gift! and we will send the recipient a card.
Each week, for 3 weeks, you will pick up, or have delivered for an additional charge, an abundant hand-wrapped bouquet of beautiful tulips that have a great vase life! I’ll send out a note to all of our subscribers in early spring and collect delivery if that is what you prefer. Delivery will be within a 10-15 mile range of my micro- farm in Des Moines.
( Shipping is NOT available on this product. Please feel free to gift your share to a friend in the event you are not available to pick up. I love you guys, but we can’t hold them because we are also farming! Your friends will love you even more if you gift them your bouquet. If your share is not picked up we will donate to a local hospice or care facility. Sales tax will be added at checkout. PC to Onings America for some of the photos. These are just a few of the types of tulips we grew this year.
