A locally owned boutique flower farm in Central Iowa.
Valley View is a boutique flower farm that sits high on a bluff overlooking the Des Moines River Valley in Boone County Iowa. We also grow on a micro-farm in Des Moines, Iowa. We cultivate old-fashioned and unusual flowers that are used by designers and enjoyed by everyday people. We design beautiful creations with our seasonal flowers and we believe everyone should decorate their lives with flowers. We care about our little slices of heaven and all the creatures that thrive on our land so we use sustainable practices in the way we live and in the way we grow. Teaching has always been a passion because I want to share my knowledge so get signed up for a class!
Our Farm and the Farmer
Valley View Farm is owned and operated by me (LaShell) and I’ve been growing flowers for over 26 years. I’m a farmer/florist. I love to grow flowers but also enjoy creating arrangements. I am dedicated to growing heirloom flowers that make great cut flowers and have wonderful fragrance. I believe strongly in American and locally grown flowers and hope to inspire people to surround themselves with fresh flowers in their homes and places of work. Our flowers are available in Ames, Cumming, Des Moines, Boone, Iowa and just about everywhere in between.
